Common Ground Arts is a community arts company & Scottish charity based in South Queensferry near Edinburgh, set up to encourage, support and celebrate creativity in all individuals. Our work encompasses courses, community arts projects, exhibitions, skill-sharing events and all aspects of personal and community development.
Our projects in the community are always inclusive, involve people as much as possible who feel excluded or marginalized in society. Most of the people who come to the workshops don’t consider that they have artistic talent or ability and are very surprised at what they can achieve. The sessions are run by professional artists with a lot of experience of teaching and running groups, and enable participants to learn new skills and gain confidence in themselves by expressing their creativity in a relaxed and informal workshop environment.
